14 weeks down, and one to go – the 2007 session of the 60th Washington legislature is in its final week. All bills had to have cleared both chambers of the legislature by close of business Friday. The number of blooms in the beds on the capitol campus continues to grow, but the field of legislation still in play continues to dwindle, and budgets are coming into focus with passage Saturday of budgets in the state Senate.
